The sub-brand of Huawei, Honor is a sister company which has come into limelight quite recently. With the launch of new Honor Smartphone recently, it has gained much popularity especially in Asia and Europe. Launching the Honor 8 and Honor 9 in 2016 and 2017 resp., the company came up with Honor V9 and Honor 10 this year. Honor 10 is a mixture of Honor 9 and Huawei P20 Smartphone, which has created quite a rave worldwide. The Phone will be launched globally on May 15th.
The stylishly designed phone
Made of metal and glass, the Honor 10 phone looks quite chic. The reflective backside lightens up when there is a light drawn from a certain angle. The curved edges let you hold the phone quite well in the hands. The Fingerprint scanner is in front while there are dual cameras horizontally placed at the back of the phone.
Dual captivating camera
With a dual camera of 16 Mp and 24Mp at the back and 24 MP of front camera, Honor has tried to work on camera features with this phone. There are several modes and features one can use to click great pictures with the snapper. The camera does have Portrait modes, AR mode, panorama shooting, 3D Creative shooting, time lapse, slow mo etc. You can shoot 4K video with the Honor 10 which would be tested once it is launched in the market.
Talking about the battery, Honor 10 comes with 3400 MaH of nonremovable battery and supports fast charging. There are various battery saving modes available in case of emergency. Nothing much can be told about the battery life at present, as it will depend on usage.
Software and Security
Honor 10 is backed with Kirin 970 SoC and have Huawei custom skin Emotion UI 8.1 which is quite similar to Stock Android. The phone lets you lock/unlock your phone with Pin or Pattern and have a fingerprint scanner as well. You get the Face recognition unlock feature and the company claims the technology used is quite fast. They claim to work well even in low light conditions.
Pricing and availability
Honor 10 is announced in China so the pricing as per China market is only known. The 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variant is priced at Yuan 2599($414) while the 6GB with 128 GB storage variant is priced at Yuan 2999 ($478). The registration for the Honor 10 flash sale has started today and would be available in the Chinese market on 27th April to purchase. Buyers would have the option to buy them in Purple, Black, Blue and Gray color.
